Meet Our Staff
Dr. Kimberly Ford, DDS
Dr. Ford is an active tennis player and plays on teams in Howard, Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties. She cares for cats and kittens through the Maryland SPCA foster program, and currently has two cats of her own.
After graduating at the top of her class at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Dr. Ford moved to Maryland in 1998. She brings her caring nature and happy self to work every day, and is certified to treat Invisalign and Sedation Dentistry patients.
Dr. Steven H. Becker, DDS
Steven H. Becker, DDS, enjoys yoga, racquetball, and snow skiing. Any one that knows him will tell you he is an avid Orioles and Ravens fan.
After graduating from the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery, Dr. Becker opened his own dental practice in the early 1980s.
He has since become a member of the American Dental Association, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Maryland Dental Implant Study Club. He is also a graduate of the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Sara Atef-Vahid, DDS
Dr. Sara Atef-Vahid (Dr. Sara) grew up in Washington, D.C., where she later earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University. She completed her advanced training in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, with a strong focus on restorative and cosmetic care, full mouth rehabilitation, endodontics, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Sara is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She believes in treating the whole person—not just the smile—and is known for her warm, genuine approach that puts patients at ease.
The most beautiful part of my job is providing that sense of confidence in my patients. My work isn’t done until I’ve seen a genuine smile of satisfaction.
Outside the office, Dr. Sara enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling with her daughter. She’s also a pianist, a collector of coins and stamps, and loves exploring new cultures. She’s fluent in English and Farsi, and has volunteered with several global dental missions, including Mission of Mercy and Mission Pakistan.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, along with several local and national dental organizations.
