Office Manager

Full-Time

Compensation: $38k – $55k a year
Requirements: 2 Years of Management Experience

Enthusiastic, responsible person sought for office manager position in a growing, high quality, COVID-19 compliant dental office in Ellicott City. Competitive salary. Previous experience required.

Dental Assistant

Full-Time

Compensation: Hourly (rate dependent on qualifications)
Requirements: X-Ray Certification
Experience: 2 years of experience preferred

Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Asking about the patient’s medical history and performing temperature checks and pulse oximeter readings
  • Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
  • Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)
  • Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;
    (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
  • Taking impressions or digital scans of patients’ teeth for study casts (models of teeth)

Dental Hygienist

Full-Time & Part-Time Positions

Compensation: Hourly (rate dependent on qualifications)
Requirements: Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist 
Experience: Anesthetic License is ideal, but not required

Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing patient charts & histories 
  • Building and maintaining personal relationships with patients; making each patient feel valued and comfortable 
  • Performing routine examinations and assessments of patients’ dental health 
  • Providing instruction, guidance, and coaching to help patients improve their dental health
  • Performing regular maintenance cleanings 
  • Performing periodontal maintenance cleanings 
  • Administering anesthetic for performing deep cleanings 
  • Taking digital radiographs and/or images
  • Recording organized notes for each patient 
  • Disinfecting and sanitizing necessary items and equipment to prepare the exam room for the next patient

Sterilization Assistant

Part-Time

Role: Assist clinical staff in the clinical setting while ensuring excellent patient care, maintaining safety standards, and acting as a resource for clinical staff.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, Dental Assistant License preferred, X-Ray Certification preferred
Experience: Preferred, but will train the right candidate
Compensation: Hourly (Rate dependent on qualifications)

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting & seating patients
  • Cleaning & setting up rooms for scheduled procedures 
  • Preparation & decontamination of instruments
  • Tray set-up and instrument sterilization
  • Recording treatment information on patient charts

Dental Receptionist

Part-Time

Requirements: Knowledge of Dentrix is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate
Experience: 1-2 Years Prior Experience Working in a Dental Office

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting patients
  • Answering phones
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Verifying patient insurance benefits
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Collecting payments
