We wanted to share an update with you regarding our departure from the Delta Dental provider network. Delta Dental has confirmed that starting November 15, 2022, we will no longer be participating providers with their PPO or Premier networks.
What does this mean for you going forward?
First, we can still see you and process your claims. However, Delta Dental has made it clear to us that they will not provide reimbursement directly to our facility. This means that when you come for your visit, you will need to pay the full appointment cost up front. (You will be notified no less than 24 business hours ahead of time what that cost will be.)
After your visit, we will send your claim to Delta Dental as usual for processing. Once the claim has been processed, Delta Dental will send the reimbursement payment directly to you, the patient.
Please be aware, as an out-of-network facility, your appointment will be reimbursed at less than 100% based on the out-of-network coverage that is provided by your individual Delta Dental policy.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you; however, with Delta Dental’s consistent refusal to reimburse at a reasonable and customary rate, we regretfully have no choice but to leave their network.
